How tall do I have to be to take a scan?

We hear many questions about the minimum and maximum heights and weights when using the ProScanner.

Weight:

Our turntable has been successfully tested for weights up to 600 lbs or 272 kg. There is no minimum weight for successful scanning. 

Height:

For minimum and maximum heights, things become a bit more tricky.

Minimum

For clients who are shorter, you must be able to create a clear A-frame body structure while holding the scanner handles to gather accurate measurements. A scan for someone who cannot create that A-frame structure while holding the handles in place will likely still receive a completed scan, but measurements may be inaccurate.

Maximum

For maximum height, we have seen successful scans up to 7 ft or 213 cm. We believe scans for slightly taller individuals would be successful, however our pool of clients aren't normally above this height.
